My customers have asked and I have answered! For 2022, I am happy to announce new size variations with 2x hooks! Yes, 2x hooks for those hog fish you allegedly claim to have hooked onto :)
These are hand poured lead jig heads for Tautog (Blackfish), Sheepshead, Seabass, Flounder, and wreck fishing. Anywhere you are fishing bottom structure, these will help you get that pool winner, trophy, or dinner on the deck! Please note, these are NOT banana jigs and the mold is specifically made for bottom fishing. Have you ever hooked into that keeper and had your lead get stuck? There is no worse feeling than losing that monster fish because you decided to stick on a bank sinker on a dropper loop.

Q: What are 2x hooks?
A: These hooks are thicker than 1x hooks for those monster fish that may bite through the regular gauge hooks (which I also sell here on ).
Q: What new variations?
A: Customers have asked for different hook size and weight combinations. For example, I will now be selling 2x 1/0 and 2/0 hook versions of the 1/2 ounce jighead. Use the drop down to see all available options.
Q: Why don't you paint them?
A: The added cost of paint and the labor involved would increase the price which unfortunately you, the consumer would take on. As most fishermen (and women) know, all the various colors are to catch the buyer, not the fish. Especially when bottom/wreck fishing, you will most likely be using cut bait like green crab, white legger, shore crab, or shrimp. In my years of experience fishing for both tog and sheepshead, placement and type of bait are the most important factor. If we are talking about Bass fishing on a clear lake, that's a totally different story!
Q: Why do your jigheads cost much less than other sellers?
A: The main reasons are that I don't paint them, and the fact that I'm a fisherman who has lost more lead and rigs than I admit to my wife. Fishing is expensive, and when you are wreck fishing or fishing in structure, you will lose lead! Have you ever broken off, re-tied that brand new rig, and promptly got hung-up on your next drop and have to break off? That's called a one-and-done and it will happen guaranteed if you are fishing in structure.
Q: What hooks are used?
A: 2x hooks chemically sharpened ultra point with 60 degree bend.
Q: Where do you get your lead?
A: I source lead from a distributor with a 98% lead and 2% antimony content (the perfect blend for jigheads). This means you are getting ultra clean lead!
Q: Shipping Costs?
A: I charge a flat-rate $8.00 for shipping. What this means is that if your total shipping cost is less than this to the next dollar, I will refund you the difference so that you only pay actual shipping. For example, you want just (2) jigs and actual shipping is $3.80 - I will refund you $4.00.
If for you example you decide to stock up for the season and order 30 or 50 jigs, your shipping will still be $8.00.
