For sale here is a Wright & McGill Granger Victory, model 8642 in excellent+ condition. 8'6" 3 piece / 2 tips, this model typically casts a 5 or 6wt line well (I prefer it with a WF5). Ammoniated cane with oxidized guides wrapped in orange and black jasper silk. Hand drawn nickel silver ferrules fit well and have witness marks for ease of alignment. The original "Wright & McGill" and "Granger Victory" rubber stamps are intact and clear. 6.5" western style cork grip is clean and smooth, and the screw-lock reel seat operates flawlessly. Until recently this rod still had the plastic on the cork, and appears to have been lawn cast only. The lack of black tipping on the wraps indicates that the rod was made in the early 1950's.
